Hussain: Ça va Mademoiselle Kelly. Tu va bien?

Kelly: Oui vieux ami, mon cours préféré commence bientôt.

Chris: You saddos. How can anyone like French?

Hussain: Well I can teach you some Arabic if you'd prefer....

Chris: No it's fine, learning one language badly is enough, thanks.

Joanne: Here she comes. Kirstie the snitch. Don't stand next to me, why don't you go and stand next to your new best friend?

Kirstie: What's your problem Jo?

Joanne: As if you didn't know. Grassing me up like that.

Kirstie: What are you on about?

Joanne: You know! Don't act all innocent. (whispering) the police came round my house because of you, saying I was threatening Mel, giving me a hard time just for sending a few text messages to her. I know it was you who told them cos no-one else would recognise my mum's mobile number.

Kirstie: I didn't tell the police anything.

Joanne: Well you told someone though didn't you? Probably little miss goody two shoes running straight to the police, the creep. Can't even take a joke.

Kirstie: Well I didn't think it was very funny.

Joanne: I'll get you for this. You needn't think you'll get away with it. I had to go and stay with my aunty the last two nights cos I didn't know what my dad would do to me.

Mel: Leave her alone.

Joanne: If you don't shut your little ginger mouth I'll shut it for you.

Chris: (laughs)

Joanne: Chris, have you met Kirstie, Mel's new friend? She's welcome to her, I think you ought to be able to trust a friend... Know what I mean Kirstie?

Kirstie: Leave it Jo.

Joanne: No chance. I haven't started yet. You wait.
