KELLY'S STORY - Don't be too clever!
 

				I could kill Kelly for saying that. I'm so mad I can hardly speak. Why did she have to say that? She's got no idea what it's like. I know we were winding her up by hiding her work, but it was just a joke. And anyway, if I think she's gay why shouldn't I say so? Chris's gay and he doesn't get all crazy about it. It's not right anyway, she shouldn't be in the same changing rooms as us, it gives me the creeps. Some of the boys say the same about Chris. She had no right to say what she did. What I have at home is not my fault, it's nothing to do with me, at least Kelly can choose. I'm going to get her for what she said.

	I'm really upset. I don't know where that came from with Joanne. How does she know I might be gay? It's just... it's just so stupid... why can't they leave me alone and not make it such a big deal, something that people get at you about. I bet it was her that hid my work in the first place, miserable cow. It just makes me so mad. I do my work, okay, cos it's easy and I want a decent job and to be able to travel. I don't go around saying I'm brainier than the others. It's just as well the librarian came along. I could have hit Joanne. Mind you, I suppose she must be pretty mad at me for what I said, but she started it. And I think I called Chris a gay git didn't I? Great. I don't like Joanne calling me a lezzy so I call Chris a gay git. Really intelligent aren't I?

				I suppose I started all that, but it was only meant to be a joke and then Joanne ended up being really nasty. I dunno why she does that. Then I get the old gay insults from both of them. Serves me right I suppose, but still......
