JAMIE'S STORY - Consequences
Kelly: D'you know Jamie, I used to think I wouldn't even give you the time of day if you asked me. But you're all right really.
Jamie: You really know how to flatter, don't you Kelly?
Mel: I told you he was okay really Kelly, didn't I? We just have to make sure Kirstie knows that, eh Jamie?
Jamie (going red) Thanks Mel, what a keeper of secrets you turned out to be.
Sarah: It's a bit amazing that last week you were nicking my dinner and this week you're waiting to have dinner with me!
Jamie: Yeah, well, when they made me write that letter to you saying sorry I felt like such a stupid idiot. My sister was visiting, my mum and dad told her everything cos they'd had to come up to school after that business with Chris, and she really had a go at me. I tell you, being told off here was bad enough, and my mum and dad went ballistic, but you've no idea what Lucy can be like. She went on and on about how she was bullied at school, and how people call her names even now for being a Traveller. If I'm ever in trouble over bullying again I don't think she'd even want to know me.
Sarah: She must have had a really hard time then?
Jamie: She didn't tell me much, but she actually cried at one time saying I was lucky I didn't know what it was like.
Mel: Pity Joanne's older sister doesn't straighten her out. She got suspended for three days for bullying Sarah, Kirstie, Kelly, me and half the school by the sound of it.
Jamie: Yeah, her mum and dad had to come up to school the same night as mine.
Sarah: I had a letter from her as well.
Mel: Yeah, me too.
Kelly: You're kidding! Me too! Is there anyone she hasn't written to? Maybe she should have sent you an apology text message Mel!
Mel: That's so not funny. Anyway, the police say it's cool. I don't think I'll be getting any more of them.
Hussain: Hiya. What's happening?
Kelly: Apart from waiting for that queue to go down, we're just talking about all the bullying stuff that's been happening.
Mel: So what did you reckon on our brilliant assemblies?
Hussain: Well I only remember the second one, when you were talking about watching bullying happening and not saying anything. I mean, I've done that. Like, I didn't do anything when Terry and Jamie nicked Sarah's dinner, and I just laughed when Terry was getting in a right state when his PE kit was hidden for the second week running.
Mel: Amazing, someone was listening!
Kelly: Zut alors, tu as changé, n'est-ce pas?
Hussain: I was pretty perfect in the first place, you must admit...
Kelly: Tu es très modeste.
