JOANNE'S STORY - I need help too
Kirstie: Y'know what they're saying about you at school don't you?
Joanne: No, course I don't. I don't care anyway. I'm not bothered about what people think of me.
Kirstie: Yeah I know but...
Joanne: They're a bunch of losers anyway, so...
Kirstie: But still, Jo, it's not very nice when nobody likes you is it?
Joanne: Well I don't like them, do I?
Kirstie: Everyone's saying you're a bully, and that you ought to be suspended or something.
Joanne: I don't give a stuff if they think I'm a bully or not. I'm not. All I do is stand up for myself.
Kirstie: Yeah, I know but...
Joanne: It took long enough for my mum to stand up for herself. Get them before they get you, that's what I think.
Kirstie: It's good to have someone you can trust though, innit?
Joanne: I can trust you though Kirst, can't I? I mean, I wouldn't trust any of that lot. What do they know in their nice little houses and their cosy little families?
Kirstie: Come on Jo, it's not like that for everyone. Look at Terry.
Joanne: Terry can get stuffed. Me and you have got to stick together.
Kirstie: Listen, all I'm saying is we're not the only ones with problems.
Joanne: Look, they should, y'know.... just because they don't stick up for themselves they try to blame me by saying I'm a bully. I'm just having a laugh.
